    Job Description

    Location: Bay Area (Various Farmers’ Markets) Type: Part-Time | Seasonal About Very Mulberry Very Mulberry (Habitera Farms) is a fast-growing specialty fruit farm based in Brentwood, California. We sell fresh mulberries and premium freeze-dried products at leading Bay Area farmers’ markets. Our brand focuses on quality, energy, and exceptional customer experience. Role Overview The Farmers’ Market Sampler is responsible for attracting customers to the booth, offering product samples, and creating an engaging, high-energy experience that drives sales. This role is ideal for someone outgoing, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with strangers. You are the first impression of the brand. Key Responsibilities Proactively engage passersby and invite them to sample products Explain product benefits clearly and enthusiastically Maintain clean and organized sampling equipment Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines Monitor sampling inventory and communicate restock needs Direct interested customers to sales staff for purchase Support booth setup and breakdown as needed Represent Very Mulberry professionally at all times

    Requirements

    Ideal Candidate Outgoing and confident communicator Comfortable approaching and speaking with strangers High energy and positive attitude Reliable and punctual Comfortable standing for 4–8 hours Weekend availability required What Success Looks Like Increased customer engagement Higher booth traffic Strong sample-to-sale conversion Clean, well-managed sampling station
